2. Proposal & Planning

Once the requirements are understood, we prepare a detailed proposal outlining the project scope, deliverables, schedule and quotation. This ensures both parties have a clear understanding before production begins.

3. Concept Development

Some clients arrive with detailed sketches, CAD models or reference material. Others simply have an idea.

Where required, we assist in developing concepts that establish the visual direction before production begins. This stage is collaborative and allows us to refine the project while changes are still quick and cost-effective.

4. Production

With the concept approved, production begins. Models are created, materials developed, lighting refined and scenes assembled according to the agreed brief.

As the project progresses, we provide regular updates and previews, ensuring you remain informed throughout the process.

Occasionally, new requirements become apparent during production. Open communication allows us to address these efficiently while maintaining the project's objectives.

5. Review & Approval

Before final delivery, low-resolution previews are provided for review. This allows you to confirm that every aspect of the project meets your expectations before the final assets are prepared.

Minor revisions at this stage ensure the finished work aligns with the approved brief.

6. Delivery

Once the project has been approved and payment has been received, the agreed deliverables are supplied in their required formats.

Depending on the project, this may include:

• High-resolution renders

• Animations

• 3D models

• CAD exports

• 3D-print-ready files

• Technical illustrations

Ownership and usage rights are governed by the agreed-upon project terms.

7. Ongoing Support

A successful project rarely ends at delivery. Products evolve, marketing campaigns change, and additional assets are often required.

Marais Works aims to build long-term relationships with clients by providing ongoing support, revisions and future project development whenever needed.

Many of our projects continue well beyond the initial delivery as new ideas take shape.

Portfolio Rights

Unless otherwise agreed, Marais Works retains the right to showcase completed work for promotional purposes, including our portfolio and marketing material.

Projects covered by non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) remain completely confidential and are never published without written permission. Because these projects limit our ability to demonstrate our work publicly, NDA requirements may influence project pricing.
